I had to file a very complex Offer-in-Compromise with the IRS, and was assured this was something Meicher could handle. They made several big mistakes that led to the entire process dragging out, including missing a major expense that needed to be explained. Because it was not, I had to go back to Meicher a year into the OIC process and request more an amended return (for which I was charged about $800) in March of 2022. Be Careful! A Business That Puts Themselves Before Their Clients.This is an especially dangerous firm to have preparing your taxes. Meicher CPAs considers itself a CPA firm for customers with significant assets and complex tax situations. Their rates are amongst the highest in the area, and their billing practices left us feeling like this firm is out to make money and nothing more.
