I went to this store today, December 28th 2020, to look at a safe for my car and to purchase my first firearm. I was ushered in with my husband and told where to look for my items. I went to the counter to look at the guns and my husband kept looking around for the sage. I waited at the counter in 1 spot while an employee waiting on a man with his son. My wife and I drove long time to check a gun . When we arrived they tell us that's only my wife who have FOID she is aloud inside and I should wait outside . We are thinking make decision to buy gun together and because stupid rule we are drove for nothing. There is nothing in there web site with this rule !!!! What a stupid rule !!!!!
3/29/2020 I went to Mega Sports to inquire about purchasing a Remington 870 Wingmaster 12 gauge shotgun. Two men were standing outside of the building at the front door. I walked up to them and asked them if the door was locked and if there was a line. They said yes. An employee from in the store opened the door and asked what we all were there for. Waited at the counter in the middle of the day for service to look at a weapon for over 5 minutes. Cashier just stared at me and all other associates looked at me and walked away. Horrible customer service and treatment. Going to spend my money someplace else that actually cares about customers.
IF you want to pay MSRP then by all means shop here!! Employees wear military saluting shirts , However there is no military or law enforcement discount of any kind.......small town loyalty!!! SMH!!
Do not shop here. Dude was very rude and said I'm not selling you anything in this store. They refused me service because I live in the township of aurora. There is no law against me owning a firearm or purchasing anything as such in Kane county. You guys don't get to make the gun laws you pompous pricks. Lawsuit waiting to happen.
This place is great. It's my go to place and I've purchased over ten handguns from here. Excellent selection and very knowledgable people. I could spend all day looking around this store. I've also noticed that they take very good care of their firearms unlike some other dealers.
Well I was there today and wanted to buy a gun . There were 4 employees standing there doing nothing and saw me but didn't even say hi or anything really horrible service . One of the employees there said to the other one these customers are not gonna buy shit so don't help them . Fucking fat ass bitch punk made me mad as fuck . I've bought several fire arms there. I do agree that these people are highly racist but they do have the best selection and which is why I choose to deal with the bad attitude and poor customer service.
