I had an extremely disappointing experience at Mega Bev. I called ahead to ask about Eagle Rare, but I didn’t fully understand the person on the phone. When I arrived and mentioned I had spoken to him about it, the cashier immediately accused me of repeatedly coming in to ask about the same bottle. Not worth the visit for good bourbon. Better luck at the west main store or National beverage , or even Texas Mart or Hoffmans for finding something rare.
I'm usually in here 2-3 times a week. But a couple of days ago I felt I was looked down upon because I came in 2 times during the day to buy beer. I will go elsewhere from now on.
Its well known that the manager calls their friends in for the allocated bottles so the normal customer never gets any good bottles but the normal shelfers. Not worth the visit. Better luck at the west main store or National beverage , or even Texas Mart or Hoffmans for finding something rare.
It's got the booze I like.
