Our experience started great, but ended poorly. The Mee’s rep badly underestimated the weight/cost on our job and, consequently, the van that showed up couldn’t accommodate all our furniture. A second truck picked up the remaining items a couple of days later, but, after 3 weeks, has yet to deliver. We’re now 11 days past the promised date on our contract, have had 5 different promises of when the rest of our belongings will arrive, and we’re still waiting. I put things into storage several years ago, although they were to only be there a short while. Based on long letters in my file, I see that the initial move was a bit contentious. The move was split--part into long-term storage, and part into a house 150 miles away. That move turned out to be several thousand dollars which I believe was much more than I had anticipated.
