The company told us they would call for pre-authorization and they did not. Now since they are not getting paid they are trying to bill us. If they would have done their job properly the services would have been covered by insurance.
Unethical business practices. They were also very unprofessional
To start Medical support services is a very unethical company. They’ll lie about getting insurance authorization and attempt to stick you with a bill almost a year later. They will attempt to blame you for their incompetent staff. Even after our insurance company found the bill to be NOT PATIENT RESPONSIBILITY, the harassment continues. With continued phone calls, texts, and emails demanding payment or they’ll send us to collections. The therapist we worked with here was great but billing is a complete nightmare. About 8 months after my son graduated from therapy we received a bill for $975 after we believed everything was completely paid. Prior to scheduling appointments we waited for the company to call our insurance to get pre-authorization for visits. After 2-3 weeks of waiting we were told we were authorized for visits on our insurance and would not need any other pre-authorization.
