I attended a mediation in front of Judge Cozzens yesterday and on a difficult case with a causation hurdle for me to overcome, he worked extremely hard over a several hour period to get the defendants to reasonably evaluate the case and allow us to reach a fair and just settlement. His vast experience on the bench in Nassau TAP along with his familiarity with the lawyers and adjusters will make him a vital asset to our industry going forward.
