I applied for a LOAN and instead MED LOAN split my original loan request onto two separate Credit Cards. I didn't want credit cards, I have those, and can apply for them for free, all by myself. After submitting my loan request, I immediately received an email notice, from two separate credit card companies, stating I was approved for two credit cards. On our application and Loan Search Form it states, “I fully understand my credit request may be presented to multiple credit issuing companies and/or search companies including (but not limited to) Banks, Finance Companies, Credit Card Issuers, and partnership programs with other such affiliated companies.”. I am currently seeking legal advice to find out how to deal with this company. They charge you a large fee without your pre-approval then send you a copy of the information you gave them on the loan application page. They then refuse to refund any money, saying that you clicked a tiny box that said 'yes' and therefore agreed to pay this amount, whether you use the loan or not. I would like to respond to this consumer’s review. This consumer filled out our application and Loan Search Form. On the Loan Search Form it fully discloses the cancellation policy and any fees that would be charged. With the Prime Program consumer selected it states, “Med Loan Finance Fees WILL BE CHARGED at time of APPROVAL*”. “*Approval is considered when offer is obtained, not at point of activation.” We offer other options which allow consumer to cancel within 7 days, but these programs were not selected. They charge you a processing fee without your pre-approval. The "agreement" only gives a chart with several amounts you might be charged depending on several factors outside of the consumers control. You are never given a chance to officially approve the amount they are charging you. If you have good credit and are eligible for the Prime loan they charge you whether you ever use the card/loan or not.
