It has to be great or pretty bad for me to leave a review. I wasted a month playing phone tag with MECU. I needed my Apple Pay verified through card services. The very first phone call I was told to call back in an hour. The next I was told I would get called back within two days, never did. I did this back and forth for a month. Each attempt to call for help led to a 15-35 minute wait for a representative to answer. 99% percent of the representatives I made contact with were very nice. I have applied two loans in the past with Mecu that were approved at the beginning but then later didn’t go through. Heloc to be specific . As each cases are different however if you are looking for consolidation and/or tapping at your heloc for medical purposes and you have high income to debt ratio, go to another credit union. In those times that I was turned down, another credit union was able to give me a chance and my family’s need was taken cared more than expected.I gave mecu a 2nd chance at heloc and that sealed it. ... read more
