MECU is one of the most horrible banks in Baltimore City/County. I paid my car note faithfully for 5 years. When COVID-19 hit, my bank sent one payment to the wrong address and they sent me to collections during the height of COVID-19. My credit score was 850; it dropped to 700 and some change because someone thought I was trying to take advantage of them.
