Do not use if you need your title transferred out of state - explained over and over state guidelines for my specific state and went to DMV twice to sort out issue - MECU would not fill out simple form to get code needed for my specific state - had to refinance my loan with another bank to get my car registered in this state. Was told it was not a "bank issue" and they would not cover my penalties, even though it was only MECU that could sort out the issue by obtaining an EIN in this state. Drive thru person has no people’s skills and he’s always on his phone and not thanking or saying have a good day when doing my transaction ive banked with them for years and was shocked he had no kind of customer service to offer me
MECU has been the best financial institution I have used, ever. With that being said, my opinion solely relies on the utmost customer service I receive from Heather and her team. Heather is the face of MECU in my eyes. She represents a credit union I can trust to be there when my family needs it. Lisa has also been a huge help in my lending needs. I would highly recommend MECU.
I've been doing transactions through this establishment for over 30 years and they cut my overdraft when I was on the streets ...hampering my existance. I've still not fully recovered from this unauthorized procedure. Wasn't it in my best interest to know that they (MECU) could take this away without warning or notice of some kind. I find it highly unacceptable and would recommend this to anyone.
