I have business, personal, and savings accounts with MB. I love the personal service. Everyone knows their regular clients by name. If you need to call with a question, a human answers the phone. I highly recommend taking your money from a bank where they don't know or care about you and moving it to Mechanics Bank. Also, little or no wait time to bank at the counter.

I am a personal chef. My client banks here at the Orinda branch. I invoice him and he has the bank send me my check. This bank takes anywhere from 10 to 20 days to get that money to me! This is outrageous! They sit on my paycheck and collect interest for all those days. There is no other reason for this kind of ridiculous delay in my receiving my Money. I would never bank here and would discourage anyone from banking here. This a predatory behavior and I am very angry.
Ally and the team at Mechanics Bank in Orinda are simply amazing. Everyone has a positive attitude and is eager to help no matter the circumstance. A great bank and a great team to do business with! A+
