This is a great butcher shop. The first time I was in, I picked up goat and a skirt steak. I stopped in the next week to get some wings and another skirt steak. They didn't have any out and when I asked if they had any, the butcher said they would in a minute. I got to watch him break down the beef in front of me, asking for my exact preferences. It was my first visit here. Well overdue. I asked the butcher what was good today. He eyed me up and down perhaps in disgust, eyeballing me….it’s all good. I understood I was winning that day. The biltong is easy to chew full rich flavour and deliscious. The ribs purchased were fresh tender and expertly trimmed. A bit extra here. We like extra . Thumbs up.
I've been in the country for 40 years and Angelo in Meat Lovers are excellent when it comes to service, meat quality and price. They have consistently looked after me every time. All my friends that I have recommended to them are equally satisfied.
