My husband stayed here for a week's respite in January. I had explained that, due to his dementia and inability to communicate following a stroke, he wouldn't realise where the shower was plus he no longer remembers to put on deodorant. I was assured that this would not be a bother and that the staff would help him. I have been visiting Mearns house as a professional for many year and have always found it looking lovely, with helpful staff and really well cared for residents. The manager is friendly and cant do enough for you and the hospitality is excellent. I wouldnt hesitate picking Mearns House for one of my own family if needed - keep up the good work!

Bullying among staff, low quality food, ineffective management. I have no idea how this place is allowed to exist. With the amount of money the residents pay to live there, they deserve a better experience.
