My husband is at Meadowbrook for rehabilitation after a hospital stay. He has dementia. The staff is professional and has been extremely kind to both of us. I always check at the Nurses Station upon my arrival for an update on his progress. Lydia is always very informative and very caring. My experience has been very positive and am grateful that my husband was placed here. I would like to thank all involved in his care. I think I was given a phony pain medication. It did not help me at all.

I don't know about the quality of care at the nursing home but the elevators are extremely slow we waited for over 15 minutes and ask the nurse to take us down the stairs but they wouldn't at first. They eventually did as it needed a code. It also smells really bad. Worse then regular nursing homes. It has improved since april

If I could give this place a zero, I would. They had me undress, which I need assistance. I told them that. They did not offer that. I asked for help to redress, they said 5 minutes. It took an hour. I was supposed to be sent somewhere else and was transferred here instead for rehab. It's been 2 days. I still haven't started it. I have asked for the social worker for the transfer to the correct facility and the nurse waved me off and said "If you asked for her, she'll come." That was yesterday. I can barely understand anyone... read more
