I had an extremely disappointing experience with this title company. The closing attorney assistant was unresponsive to emails, forcing me to go through the secretary just to get any updates. Even then, it would take days for the assistant to respond—when she did, it was with a brief, one-sentence answer that didn’t address all of my concerns. Mead Law handled the sale of our building when we closed our business. Very prompt and professional service. Even with the untimely freeze in Texas, that knocked out power for our buyers, they were able to get all the paperwork online and all went smoothly. About a week delay due to FedEx being unable to pickup, but that was certainly no fault of Mead Law. Highly recommend!!
As a local realtor, I wish I could say I had a better experience but doing my first sizable deal with them was far from smooth. Delays, lack of accountability, details being skewed, lack of communication with the correct people and an overall late, delayed and unsavory experience is just a summary. I cannot say I’d recommend them. I strongly suggest they hire more staff or reduce the intake of contracts they take on as I feel that would’ve prevented the delays in closing we encountered. Much of this could have been avoided.
As a Realtor I have closed with Mead Law and Title multiple times and have really enjoyed them. They do great title work!
