I wish my buyer would have not chosen this notary. This is the most expensive notary that I have dealt with in my 10 years of real estate career. Poor communication where you don’t know the final invoice until the day of your notary. Otherwise, my buyer would have cancelled the notary. We both were shock. I paid 4400$ in total for the notary fee. I am opening a file with chamber of Notaire along with my buyer. I hope there are more complaints on them and whoever had to pay a ridiculous amount of money get the refund.

In my experience of dealing with 3 other notaries in Gatineau so far, this has been the worst and most expensive experience and it was not by choice, as the buyer had selected the office. As the seller, we paid more than what you would as a buyer and speaking to the buyers, they were shocked by the invoice and disappointed in their own choice. Etant originalement native de la region de la Haute Gatineau, elle avait choisit de prendre les services d un notaire d'une compassion exceptionnelle et de plus très compétent, Me André Larocque, qui pratiquait sa profession a Gracefield.
