My experience with DORS was not helpful whatsoever. Putting aside the unhelpfulness of the "employment assistance," during the time I was a DORS client, I lived in an environment that was never less than severely stressful, and often outright abusive, due to the actions of a person I lived with. Are you disabled, struggling to build a life, and looking to get run around and told a bunch of BS promises about how someone's here to help you, all while being treated like a nuisance and a fool by people that are employed to assist folks with disabilities? I am very disappointed with this Program or organization I signed up with this organization almost 2 years ago. I thought I was gonna help me find a better job and help me obtain my GED. I met with the people at my job. We had an assessment down in Baltimore. I got assigned a caseworker the caseworker last and I got signed with another caseworker after a year await of what’s going on and trying to get a hold of them. i have been signed up with this program for almost 2 years now and have to say extremely disappointed first it took them a year to start getting the ball Rolling on my case after making me sick I’m not sidelines for a year my case manager I just got sick.
