I had the pleasure of taking my taxes here this year, for the first time. It certainly will not be the last! Mrs. Betts took the time to explain each piece of the puzzle. I’ve never understood taxes the way I do now, because of her! She is a fantastic and very knowledgeable professional who I will recommend to all.
Very helpful and thoroughly. She even recondmended for me to take out extra from my paycheck for taxes so that I wouldn't have to owe next year. It didn't take hours of waiting to do my taxes like some other places.Plus she doesn't do extensions so she can get it done the first time.
Walked in , was treated like complete crap. She huffed that we didn’t totally have everything together, even though we came a little early to do so. She had a nasty attitude when I tried to show her my forms that were online. Talked to my husband as if he was a child. I told her she was rude. She argued that she wasn’t rude instead of trying to make things better. I am shocked at the treatment we got. It was as if she wanted us to walk out. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to her. Mrs. Betts is an experienced professional tax preparer, very thorough and patient. Until last year, I had always done my own taxes. What a difference it is to be able to relax, 100% confident that my taxes were done correctly and that I got every deduction to which I am entitled. I wish I had known about McTax sooner~
We were very satisfied working with Ellen. She was professional, efficient, and thoroughly explained everything. She answered all of our questions. We will continue using her to do our taxes.
