We have been using McSwain CPA for the past few years and have received timely and excellent service from Andrea. She has even guided us to manage our finances in preparation for taxes. Her knowledge and advice have saved us money. Both Andrea and reception staff have been friendly and responsive. They have given us excellent care.
If I could give less stars I would. We have David and Lorrie mine, my husband’s and our companies tax information beginning of Feb this year - it is now almost June and they have done nothing. We use QuickBooks and our account was set up incorrectly. I had a meeting with Lorrie prior to becoming a client and explained EVERYTHING to her. I was very transparent. Terrible experience with David, no communication and just left in the dust. It was my first time filing with a company since I had just opened my own business and wanted things to be done right. I “filed” with David, and was first told that the process would take a couple weeks and that he would contact me to finalize everything. More than 2 weeks go by and nothing. I have used this company for years. I dropped my taxes off several weeks before the due date didn't hear back from them for 3 weeks. They charged me 3 times as much for the most simple tax return. I've ever brought into them total fraud.
I was recommended to go here for David Stocks services and have used him for my taxes the last two years. Last year was simple and got done, however I did have issues with communication between him. Unfortunately, throughout last year I was receiving several letters from the IRS stating I was being looked at, requested to send certain documents and that I owed several thousands dollars.
