McMahon and Associates does our personal taxes and some of our business taxes. Cannot recommend them enough! They take the time to explain what/why they are doing what they do and offer suggestions that we should take on our end. Response time is very quick, and they take the time to listen to your needs and offer actions steps. They are extremely knowledgeable and up to date with laws changing and explains how it will affect us. We have been extremely pleased working with them for the past few years!
I did not have a positive experience here. Emily was the first CPA I hired for my new business. I was advised against paying quarterly taxes by her even though I ask and felt that I should be doing so. I ended up owing so much at the end of the year that I was unprepared for due to her advice. I was never contacted throughout the year by her to see if we should meet to check on things and still not until I reached out to her at the start of 2025 did she take a look at my accounts. Disappointing service. The accountant that scheduled our appointment didn’t even show up or greet us. The lady who received us was nice and patient, that’s the only reason they didn’t get 1 star review from me. The worst part is, I waited for their documents and response for an entire week but finally was coldly informed losing business with them.
