Team was on-time, professional, and efficient during the loadout process. They took the time to package all of my household goods to ensure nothing would break in the transportation of my items. I could not recommend them higher if you are moving anytime soon.
I had hired Mclaughlin to move a multigenerational grandfather clock from my grandmothers house to my residence. The team members that moved the clock were very careful, knowledgeable and took great pride in their work. The lead person on the job spoke highly of the company as a whole and presented himself with a sense of personal pride to be apart of the company. ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE is the best way I can describe our entire experience with McLaughlin Transportation. From coordination to execution there was no part of our moving process that was handled with the knowledge or tact of a reputable mover. Scheduled a cross country move from NH to WA. Eric Clew was great for the quote and the truck loaders were also great. Unfortunately that was the end of that. My contact Laurie Mclaughlin made zero effort in any type of communication during the move. Our items were picked up June 13th and scheduled for delivery July3-8th. It wasn't until the 2nd of July when I called that I found out that they haven't even been shipped yet and were still in NH because they couldn't source a driver. We used McLaughlin for an interstate move last month, and while the loading and delivery crews were professional, the packing team and customer service were unacceptable. The two packers, Mike and Mike, were careless and unprofessional. They left several drawers and closets unpacked, stacked boxes directly on expensive furniture (including white chairs), and made the entire house smell like cigarettes from chain smoking throughout the day.
