Treated myself to an hour remedial massage today and it was amazing!!! The perfect amount of pressure from my head to my toes. I floated out of there wishing I could experience that every day!
I’m very sorry to leave this review because I used to love this place. But everyone around has evolved to warm towels and natural scents and oils. This place smells like strong chemical cleaning products. The feeling today was an annoyed masseuse that was working too late (I booked for 90 minutes a massage at 4:30 because it was the time I could make it, but they tried to get me to come earlier, and I couldn’t). This is a lovely little massage retreat in the heart of McLaren Vale. If you are looking for the retreat atmosphere and service to go with your pampering, this is the place to go. Two small things to be aware of - my experience is that I have never been offered to use my extras Health Insurance towards payment. Second is that I recently booked online and did not receive the therapist I had booked, and they had not confirmed with me that this was OK. The therapist I had was exceptional, so It worked out well.
I’m sorry to leave a bad review but I Booked a massage and related I have been getting cramps in my calf muscles. I was told whoever was going to massage me would concentrate on that issue. During my massage every part of my body was massaged apart from my calves. I asked 3 times to have my calves massaged but the lady would not touch them. $99 and the only part of my body I wanted to be massaged wasn’t touched.
