Moldy (green and black) soup bones. Deposited by a bandsaw (mold along the cuts). Absolutely disgusting. Can’t imagine this saw isn’t the same one used for the rest of the beef…
Expensive for ordinary things, but they have an excellent meat department. Their own bacon is not wet cured, so you don't get a load of white scum when you cook it. Their marinated meats are great too. They have better sausages than standard industrial ones, but not something that would make a British butcher willing to sell them. We go there every few weeks.
Great variety of meats and the extras. Affordable prices and friendly staff.
