I have virtually no knowledge of how to properly judge wood to fit my projects, however when I arrived the help I received was amazing. He helped me pick out all the different woods I was looking for while considering my budget, found me a larger piece of poplar to practice on, offered to square the wood up for me if I had trouble because that I'm in an apartment complex and can't used loud machines, and even let me take some of the scrap pieces to practice some joinery for free.
