I had a fantastic stay at McGills in Cripple Creek. First off, the beds! Easily the firmest and most supportive I’ve come across in any hotel, and that made all the difference after long days out and about. The entire hotel was impressively clean from top to bottom, which didn’t go unnoticed. What really stood out, though, was the staff. I can not believe after all these years, the waiter at Magills just told me I need a sippy cup after I accidentally spilt my ice water . I was having a bad day, sat down crying at the table… spilt my drink and he says this. -After I told the manager… she says “ Hes our best waiter and was just making light of the situation”. I said I was offended, and the women manager said, “ well theres no getting theought to you!” -I LEFT IN TEARS! I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO OFFENDED AT A DINNING PLACE! Wow . Happy Mothers day.
