I made a call at 1:31pm on March 31st. I had kindly asked to clarify if my appointment was booked or had been cancelled. After I explained that I have a temporary new health card due to my wallet being stolen today, she got very aggressive towards me. She used a very unprofessional tone and was angry while telling me “This is not Ontario! This is Quebec! If there was zero star, that’s what I’d have given. This health service is HIGHLY NOT ACCESSIBLE. For almost 4 solid weeks, I’ve been wanting to book an appointment to no avail. I wait on call for 20mins+ each time only to be told the appointment for the day is full and that I should call the next day. I call next day early and they hang up on me saying they have a high volume of calls. I heard the quality of care is high. But if it’s not accessible, then what use is it to people? Can never get an appointment, either the call line is full or appointments taken. When you do get an appointment they just tell you to go to a different doctors...smh
