I’m kind of shocked at the bad reviews, and just want to point out that almost all of them are in regard to the U-Haul side of this business and not actually the mechanics. I have been coming here for my automotive repairs for more than ten years since moving to Cranbrook and have had nothing but top tier service. Helpful and friendly folks assisted us with our u haul rental
We wished we had read the reviews before we went here, but went off the recommendation off another place as they were too full. Communication is very poor, but maybe we are used to exceptional service in New Zealand. The communication between the mechanics and front desk is TERRIBLE, the receptionist looks terrified to ask them anything (I understand after we saw first hand how they talk to her). I was coming through town on my way to Nelson. Injector went, they were great and had me going the next day. However I made it 160 km down the road. I called the owner and he said bring it back. Well I was closer to my destination than I was at this place. I would’ve needed to tow it and get another hotel room. I strongly believed it was a different problem then the new injector he just put in, so had it towed to a closer shop. The other shop said it was the new injector that was faulty.
