I recommend the firm of McGarry and Simon highly and without reservation. My situation was so complex and layered with death and real estate and live-in girlfriends, Transfer on Death papers, misconduct by plaintiffs and attorneys on both sides, family members acting irrationally, you name it. William Simon is beyond a professional. I was the broker for an estate and he was their probate attorney. What a great experience we had, the heirs and I. William was totally responsive, whether it was his client, buyer's attorney, or Co-op Board. He had all the paperwork prepared which can be extensive, for the transfer of the property. My grandfather passed away last year, intestate, and I bore the responsibility to settle his affairs due to my grandmother's compromised health. I had a question about a really small estate and instead of trying to sell me or push me in any direction, he just answered my questions patiently and walked me through the steps for handling my issues. If that's not someone you want to work with, I don't know who is!
I am very satisfied with the outcome of my case. I recommend Mr.Simon 100%. He is very knowledgeable and honest.
