I perform regularly at happy hours at McDowell village. The staff are always friendly and accommodating and the residents look very happy living in this environment.
I perform a musical program of favorites on my keyboard and the piano on 1st Sundays of the month…I have been so delighted with the great response your residents have given me… there is one dear lady that always has a delightful smile for me and invites residents to join in on singing or responding to the music.. it is a pleasure to perform at McDowell village…Ken Noble entertainer..
Carol Reiley My mom Lavelle Birmingham was an original resident when MDV first opened. It quickly became home. She lived her final years there until she passed in 2013. Her care was exemplary as she progressed from independent to more upgraded care. I loved visiting her as everyone was so welcoming. Araceli was one of her caregivers at the time and treated us all like family. We have such gratitude for MDV! 🩵

My wife and I are 83. We first visited McDowell village in July 2024. Although we were in relatively good health, my wife could no longer drive, so we thought we should make plans for our future years. We visited several senior living communities. While we knew we had found our future home as soon as we walked in the front door, we continued to visit other facilities.
