We looked at several assisted living facilities and are very happy that we chose McDowell Village for our mother. Executive staff members are responsive and caring, there are many activities for residents, there's a lovely dining room and good food, onsite physical therapy is available billed through Medicare, and onsite visiting primary and specialist care is available and billed through Medicare. I chose McDowell Village for the people. Everyone I met was friendly, happy and smiling. The residents and staff made me feel like I belong here. I have not met one person who is not warm and welcoming staff or fellow residents.
There so much to do here everyday! And my doctor, Dr. Opila, recommends this place. I really feel I know 40-50 people just by their first name. It’s a very friendly place. All my kids know I’m happy here and so I love it! I feel the whole staff works together very well and every day there’s something new to do.
