What started off as a pleasant experience turned into a nightmare when the moving truck did not have room for my furniture and stranded me. And to make matters worse, it was a Saturday, and McCarthy had no after-hours number, and the woman I was working for called out sick for days after. They also pointed fingers at National who was equally unhelpful. In the end, I believe McCarthy underestimated my load despite a detailed list of photos and items, or the trucker overloaded his truck with other people's items. Regardless, I... read more
