The new guy that often works evenings in the office I dont recall his name but he started recently and he's thin with brown hair. He is VERY unfriendly and makes the company look bad. You speak to him he ignores you, huffs and puffs when he has to get out of that chair & do his job. Ive seen residents and family trying to get in the building and he's sitting right in the office looking at them but wont get up and assist them with opening the door. My review is based on a personal tour of the independent facility only. While we didn’t choose McCarthy Court for my mom, I want to share that my family was very impressed with the facility. The apartments buildings and grounds are beautiful and well kept. The list of services and amenities included are notable. The staff was welcoming and positive. I highly recommend a personal tour if you are looking for independent living for yourself or a family member .

I am the POA for a sweet family friend. We brought her here to take a look after selling her home. Everything looked amazing, the activities, the restaurant dining, the people, and the complex was beautiful. After signing a lease for a one bedroom, 1 bath apartment, 2 months later her rent increased by almost $300! The food went completely downhill. Many offerings were cut and most of the time the kitchen is out of many items such as potatoes, milk, desserts, eggs, etc. These are things that should be staples. And, there is ... read more
