I received by monthly statement and upon opening I noticed there was a $29.00 late payment fee. I have my monthly payment automatically deposited from my account in which since May 2018 (when I refinanced) they debited from my account on the due date each month. When I called them and to ask/discuss they stated that it was from Oct 2017. I explained that I did not have a mortgage with them in Oct 2017. just a pathetic mortgage company
I've done several loans through MB in the past 5 years. They provide outstanding value and exceptional service. John Simpkins is my banker and is incredibly responsive to all of my questions throughout each process. I've gotten great rates (as good as I can get anywhere else, and usually better). I'd highly recommend MB. They are small enough to treat you like a friend/family but large enough to ensure you're getting a great product with great service and a great rate.
Worst, most backward mortgage company I have ever dealt with. The couple problems I had with BofA pale in comparison to this nightmare. They can't keep a copy of my flood insurance to save their lives. Despite multiple emails and faxes, they still "never received it". No worries though, despite being well aware of my current policy, they have no issue purchasing flood insurance on my behalf and adjusting my escrow payment. Cole Taylor updated their website about a year ago and it is absolutely pathetic! I wish they would learn that the more information you can provide a customer on your website the less phone calls you will get. Customer service is right on par with their website... terrible.
