Broadway Bank an Inconveinent Archaic Money Changer Location was my primary reason for Starting an account on Broadway. Wheel Chair accessibility and one on one service seemed to be a good reason to do so. Service is inept to such a degree that I have made my decision to Bank elsewhere. Can not be better Being customer of Broadway bank for over 15 yearsd I have never experienced any problems as those described by other reviewers Services provided by their employees were always so excellent that i kept my accounts even after moving in a suburb 25 miles from the bank.
The Worst Bank I've Ever Known Surprise negative balances, barely audible tellers, and all around lousy security. Worst case: Moving from the city, deposit 1500, on 5th day, my account was negative 1300. I had spent no money, and had no authorized companies or individuals to take money from the account. Now I'm stuck w/o money. I am on the verge of calling the FBI, IRS, Shaft, or somebody on these bastards.
Out of Quarters I made the mistake of choosing this bank because it was "down the street from me". After some time I switched to another larger chain, multi-location bank. Aside from basically unpleasant customer service, the last straw came when I went to a teller window and requested $10 in quarters (for laundry). The teller broke the news to me that "We're out of quarters right now". Yes. The bank was out of quarters.
Living in the 50s? When you walk into this bank located in a historic building, you might think it's quaint. But when you actually bank there, you'll find that the building isn't the only thing that takes you back. Their processes are antiquated, which often causes confusion about your account, something you can avoid by banking elsewhere.
