I was put on as Joint owner for my uncle who had terminal cancer. We told the representative the day I was added as joint owner why I was being added. When my uncle passed I called and had to go through hell to speak to a representative. I informed them of his passing and let them know I was waiting on death certificates. I ask for online access so I could make sure to stop all auto debits. I was told that even as a joint owner on the account my uncle would have to give authorization to get me online access.
