Maynard's was established in 1947 by Al Maynard. Following his service as a Navy Lieutenant in World War II, Maynard worked for Maxwell Brothers Furniture in Rome, Georgia. After working in Rome for a year, he returned to Belton ( his wife's home town ) to open Maynard's Furniture. The first store was 5, 000 square feet, and was located on the square in Belton. Absolutely- hands down, the best furniture store I’ve ever been in. The whole staff is amazing. But Mrs. Cindy is truly an angel! She’s helped us design 2 of our rooms and I cannot wait to see the end result!
Wonderful friendly and knowledgeable people. I’m kinda partial because they are family to me! I very excited about my custom made Amish kitchen table too!! I drive from Columbia to Belton just to buy my furniture from Maynard’s!
