If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I tried to place an order for an item from this company for about seven weeks and there was always an issue, such as IT issues shipping to Canada (although they confirmed multiple times that they can fulfill orders to Canada), stock issues, etc. I worked with a customer service representative who always took multiple business days to even acknowledge my emails, which was so frustrating because we needed this furniture for a baby that now had arrived. Overall terrible experience.

I’m very disappointed with the service I received from Maxwood furniture. I ordered a dresser, and when it arrived, multiple pieces were broken. I reached out to customer service right away, hoping for a quick resolution, but it took weeks for them to respond. After much follow-up, they agreed to send the replacement parts. Unfortunately, after waiting even longer, I was informed that the parts had been "lost in transit." Many e-commerces, such as Plank and Beam, sell their furniture. Their products are made of inferior materials and will break within a year of purchase.

I hate saying the cliché “if I could give 0 stars I would” but it’s so true in this case. I ordered a mattress from one of their, apparently, many storefronts. It was the second I ordered and after I ordered my husband stated it was too thin so I said ok I’ll cancel. 4.5 HOURS after I ordered I went in search of how to cancel. I had 24 hours to cancel and they will basically “try” to cancel. I clicked one link under their policy that was supposedly to send in a request but got sent to an error page. We purchased the twin/full bunk bed. The solid wood was well stained and the assembly instructions were clear. At no fault of Maxwood, one bedside rail was damaged in shipment. This tests a company's character - Maxwood replied to my request, and coordinated a replacement in a timely manner. I would purchase something from them again as a result of their trouble ticket resolution and furniture quality.
