If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Awful customer service experience. We ordered a bed, dresser, and mattress on 11/21/25. Waited multiple weeks for an update (while being blasted with marketing emails). After calling in and speaking to multiple representatives, we were told the items were shipped incorrectly to a different state as my order was mixed up with another individual. I am so upset I ordered 3 beds from bed bath and beyond’s site and one came with some parts cracked. I called max wood and furniture to get parts replaced or new one sent out. They told me the beds are out of stock and it’s pretty much to bad. Are you serious!! You have 4 in your warehouse showing still online. They just don’t care about their customers. Customer service is an absolute joke and treat you like crap. So now I have a broken bed and no resolution. What a joke. I don’t think split wood would be safe for my child!... read more
Max wood and furniture is a joke of a company they do not stand by their products and sell you broken beds and won’t fix it. I can’t even put together this POS together. What a joke. I don’t care if I got it off of overstock or bed bath and beyond’s site it came directly from max wood furniture!
Cannot recommend. This is the parent company of Plank+Beam. Never again.
Horrible customer service, condescending or generic automated responses. Ordered a pre-order for Sept 10 delivery, they provide no updates and just excuses. Would never recommend nor will I ever order from this company or Plank+Beam again.
