Like other reviewers, I was initially a little sceptical about the benefits of acupuncture during IVF. However, Maxine's warmth, openness and humour combined with the surprisingly relaxing needles (!) really nurtured me physically and emotionally during this journey. I am writing this while my 7 week old daughter naps on me - thank you so much Maxine for all your support!Â
I was a little cynical about using acupuncture to support fertility when going through IVF treatment, but after our first embryo transfer failed I was willing to try anything to increase our chances. Maxine soon won me over with her calm, caring nature and I came out of each session feeling relaxed, uplifted and hopeful. I never thought I'd be into having needles in my face, feet etc - but it really did bring on a sense of wellbeing.
