Today was my second visit for a title loan. Having had a title loan in the past that was fully paid off, I hoped this visit would be rather short, in and out with the money I needed in hand. Well, it wasn't the best experience. First, I was not approved for the amount I had asked for. Now I'm sure there are reasons (but they weren't explained to me). had a great experience with MTL. I did my research before I took out a loan , I realize that a title loan is much different than refinancing a vehicle, I believe this is where people get confused. I had a plan how to pay off my loan before I even signed the contract. There were no hidden surprises, everything was upfront and honest. I LOVE the staff!! Upon calling Maxium Title Loans they tell you on the phone that the title loans are NOT based on any type of Credit Checks, in fact they will tell you that they do not do Credit checks. This is LIE!!! THEY PERFORM A SOFT CREDIT CHECK & IT SHOWED UP ON MY CREDIT REPORT!! I was not given a loan due to a PAID judgement something that was not told to me on the phone.
