So glad I found Maximum Function! I'm 62 and I fell roller skating and broke my wrist in 3 places the end of March. After I had wrist surgery I started going to Jolene for therapy the end of April. My hand, wrist and arm had very limited mobility and strength. After just a few sessions and at home exercises I began to see some real improvement. Jolene helped my husband with his carpal tunnel pain. So when I was in pain for 6 months and the doctors couldn't seem to help me, I went to Jolene. On boy did she ever help! I used to cry everyday due to my pain. I don't anymore! And one of the things I love about her (aside from the relief!) is that she truly listens and seeks out what is causing the pain and works to relieve it. I truly cannot say enough about her. I went in today for a functional capacity evaluation and Jolene was an utmost professional, she was thorough in her examination but constantly aware of my pain levels and checking on me. Jolene is kind hearted, caring and constantly checking on you to make sure you are not overdoing it and hurting yourself. I have had chronic pain in my back and hips for years. Had multiple injections that only last a few months or not at all. I have gone to Jolene at Maximum Function three times. She is finding the root of the problem, not just treating the symptoms. Her excitement and knowledge of finding the right spot that is causing the issue is wonderful. Then she gave me exercises and stretches that keep the pain away with no medication!!!
