I was a Max customer for over 40 years, and I ended this relationship a few months ago. They did not even try to retain me as a customer, because they simply do not care. You have to literally go into a branch to be able to talk with someone. If you try to call on the phone, you get an AI assistant who puts you in a perpetual loop. They've gotten too big to have good customer service anymore. I moved my accounts to a smaller, local community oriented bank with excellent customer service.
I've been trying for 3 Days to make a credit card payment over the phone and I keep getting cut off. Tells me to download the app, I did that. There's no way to pay a credit card on the app. Even though it says credit card manager! Very very frustrating!
Max Credit Union is this best people to do banking with!! Excellent service and kindness
