My parents moved into their assisted living apartment in 2022. My father was dead set against moving into an assisted living. His health was failing and my mom started wandering out of the house so it was a move that had to happen. Within 6 months of moving in he became a huge fan of the place! He wished he had done it sooner. He finally got to have friends again and be a husband again instead of a caregiver. Some of the best pictures we have of my parents are from there.
