In Maui 2024 deep sea fishing my husband caught a Mahi Mahi. We wanted to capture this catch to showcase at home but didn't want the old plastic molds. The captain on our boat suggested Brian and his work. We were impressed with his website and decided to go with this medium. Brian was easy to work with and was pretty quick in completing the full size. He mailed it to us in Chicago in a sturdy packaging and I think in less than a month. The print is awesome! Brian is a master in his craft. His Gyotaku prints are so much more of a personal connection to the fish you catch than any other medium I have found. It’s extremely captivating and is going to be something I hope to pass down for generations to come. Aside from the quality, Brian was also easy to communicate with.
