I was surprised to read the two other reviews. While I have no reason to doubt your recounts, my experience with Maui Family furniture has only been positive. As a bargain hunter I have found a few items there that suited my needs perfectly. The owner was very nice and delivery was prompt and hassle free.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I BOIGHT A COUCH, PAID TO DELIVER AND THEIR GUYS DAMAGED THE COUCH DELIVERING AND THE OWNER HAS NOT RETURNED CALLS FOR A WEEK. COUCH HAS HOLE IN UPHOLSTERY AND INTENSE SCRATCHES ALL ALONG THE BACK OF WOOD FROM FORCING THROUGH A DOORWAY. EVERYDAY SALES LADY SAYS OWNER IS NOT THERE TODAY AND NOBODY ELSE CAN HELP. DO NOT BUY HERE.
BUYER BEWARE!!!! We purchased a sleeper sofa here about a month ago. In that time, my 2-year-old and 9-month-old kept getting sick. While deep cleaning our apartment one day, we attempted to remove and wash all the covers from the cushions (some of the zippers had been sewn shut making this impossible) The cushions that we were able to get the covers off of were covered in black MOLD!
