Dr. Pittman performed my bariatric surgery in 2023. I felt very prepared for the post-op lifestyle throughout the entire process. His bedside manner is excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Pittman!
I hurt myself at work. Occ Health directed me to see a general surgeon. I have a workman's comp claim number and saw a primary doctor first. Scheduled an appointment with Dr. Pittman on November 8th or 9th. His office said the earliest they could get me in for a consult was December 21st. So I scheduled it. Today, December 19th, his office calls me looking for more information on my case. Excellent bedside manner. Thorough in his explanations.
I had gastric bypass on 3/13/17 with Dr. Pittman. He is the best doctor I have ever had. His bedside manner is 5 stars! Dr. Pittman and his team are very caring, knowledgeable and professional. He made me feel comfortable and lessened my stress & anxiety. He is a top surgeon in my book with regards to bariatric surgery. I would definitely recommend with high praise! Dr. Pittman seriously saved my life. Can't thank him enough for all he does!
This was a wonderful experience with Dr. Pittman. He is very knowledgeable, kind and put me at ease. He incorporated my feelings into the treatment plan. He ran appropriate testing (even called down to the MRI department to see if they could take me for the xray before I left) and then he called me within 24 hours to fully explain the results. I will highly recommend Dr. Pittman to all my family and friends. The office staff was also very helpful and kind.
Dr. Pittman thoroughly explained the reasons for the surgery and answered all questions. Between the consultation and surgery he was available by phone for additional questions. His personality put me at ease on the day of surgery. I spent two nights in the hospital following the procedure. The second morning he returned to the room to talk to my wife also and spent the time to reassure us. While home I had a issue. Wife called the office and was talking to the Dr. within minutes.
