We are a real estate development company that has been using Matterport for more than 3 years. We have invested more than 1,000 hours in creating more than 200 Matterport models. The camera and software work great and we have loved having access to "Digital Twins". Unfortunately, Matterport made changes to their pricing policy after we locked into the tool and now charge an additional $9.99 to "re-activate" and view a model. Worst company ever. I had an appointment with capture services and called the previous day to postpone. They sent emails confirming my request and also the technician informed me he can come at a later date. After 5 days, Capture services team went ahead and cancelled my order, forfeited my money and argues that l should have called 24 hrs in advance . Their customer service sucks. Matterport requires a regular subscription to there services. They renew their subscription without proper notice and when you cancel it, they refuse to reimburse you—even if you notify them promptly. This is a terrible, greedy corporate policy.
