Just updating this review from four years ago. Adding that Matt continues to offer a holistic approach to all bodily matters! Not a hit-or-miss sort of service. He is masterful with his physio-science, delivers specific and effective manipulation of the problem areas, and combines it effortlessly with some yoga and pilates advice. He takes an easy-going pace throughout and explains things clearly as he goes along. He is also generous with his time and follows up with relevant information. Top Choice!
Matt helped alleviate my back and shoulder pain after two sessions, and I will continue to see him for massage. Very happy with the results so far and highly recommend.
I've been seeing Matt for around 6 years now. He is a terrifically focused practitioner. His excellent treatments get the body biomechanics back in balance. He listens and observes closely then employs great soft tissue massage and mobilisations that leave my body feeling free and easy. He also has great music and is a totally lovely dude.
Matt understands muscles and joints. He aims to heal you and will do research to learn about your condition. He restored my shoulder years after surgery to full usage and fixed my jaw by sending me to the dentist. He is also great at massage. I trust Matt with my muscle and mobility issues.
Matt was my therapist when I lived in Melbourne from 2015-2017 and I recently saw him again when I visited Melbourne in July, 2025. Matt always uses the perfect pressure and will focus on specific problem areas until the muscles relax. He’s gentle and engaging and I’m always completely comfortable with him. I’m sad I no longer live in the same city to receive my regular myotherapy session. Matt receives my highest recommendation.
