My father has been here for about 6 days now and it's been problem after problem! He has had a shower since he's been there and "they" forgot to give him his meds for the whole day. The food is horrible...absolutely horrible! My service animal was told by upper management "that he needed to be confined" even after I showed her his service ID (which on the back it clearly states that illegal, then the following day I was told the same thing by a nurse supervisor. Updated Post: My mom has been at Matlock Place for two weeks now. We got off to a shaky start, but now things are going VERY WELL. She is complimentary of the nurses and rehab. The front desk ladies are awesome as well. There are many people who deserve to be recognized. ***FYI. There is a call button by the bed - but there is not a form of communication from the bed to the nurses station.
