We had a very disappointing experience with the Mathnasium Pembroke (Virginia Beach) center regarding billing and communication. Earlier this year, we requested that our daughter’s account be placed on hold while she focused on her SOLs and end-of-year schoolwork. We received verbal confirmation from the center that her account would remain on hold until we requested reactivation. Despite this, our credit card was charged for several months. My son has truly thrived at Mathnasium! He no longer feels anxious about math and actually looks forward to his sessions. Mathnasium does a great job of filling in learning gaps while also supporting students with their current homework. We love it so much that I enrolled my daughter as well—she’s learning new concepts and really flourishing! Each of my kids uses Mathnasium for different reasons, but they both enjoy going together and have grown tremendously.

Mathnasium took my child from math averse to math confident. The proof was in the results! No math class was ever passed with higher than a "C". After a summer of Mathnasium, my child carried an "A" average the entirety of their Senior year. Thrilled with the results and would recommend Mathnasium to anyone. Had I started this process earlier when I realized how I taught did not align with how my child learned, I would have put them in Mathnasium at the FIRST sign of struggle. 100% worth every penny and lesson.
