School is hard enough. My wife and I figured that if there are simple things we can do to make it easier on our daughter, we should do them. We chose to enroll our daughter in Mathnasium in 1st grade with the simple objective of making math easy for her. It worked. Mathnasium (La Costa) has been nice this summer for my son; keeping him doing some math that he needed to review, to learn, and to get him ready for his next class. Instructors and staff are very helpful and kind.
Our child loves it here. He begs to go, which for a parent is lovely to hear. He still asks to go after many sessions. He has improved on his math skills since he started. Benji and Chris has been great to work with answering all of my questions. Highly recommend. It’s by a grocery store which is perfect for a math drop off and grocery haul.
Great team. Excellent teachers who are wonderful motivators. Very pleased with their ability to close previous gaps in math skills while instilling a love of learning math.
We’ve had a fantastic experience at Mathnasium La Costa, and much of that is thanks to Benji, the manager. From day one, he has created an environment that’s welcoming, structured, and focused on building real confidence in math. You can tell he genuinely cares about each student’s progress and well-being. The tutors are patient and engaging, and the curriculum is thoughtfully tailored to meet students where they are. My child actually looks forward to going—something I never thought I’d say about a math program!
