My daughter has been attending Mathnasium for seven months now, starting when she was just 3 years and 8 months old. I’ve been so impressed with her progress — she’s already doing addition! The staff is wonderful — friendly, patient, and truly dedicated. I also appreciate their flexible scheduling, which makes a big difference with my busy work schedule.
Mathnasium (Camarillo) really shows how much they care about the students success with constant communication thru email updates, progress report phone call’s, and will take the time to chat with you if need be (sometimes unscheduled)…
Disappointing & Unprofessional I have over 10 years’ experience tutoring math in VUSD, VCOE, VCCCD, and with various agencies—and I can’t recommend Mathnasium at all. My experience: • Underpaid staff. They hire high-schoolers and pay tutors minimum wage (often less than local fast-food chains). • Program not followed. Despite slick marketing and graphics, they don’t run the Mathnasium method as prescribed—it’s basically a marketing sham. • Liability concerns.
